The Next Download release
Is now scheduled for the beginning of August. This will give me the until the end of the month to go round and fix any inconsistencies and little odd jobs that need doing. (Such as removing the floating snow block in the church!) Already I have been making progress, after posting on the "What does your base look like" thread, I've already fixed the rest of the walls around the auto-smelters with a new lower wall trim border - and fixed the ceiling. I've also fixed the ceiling (I.E) replacing stone from the natural mountain that was always intended to be changed) from both the stairs down to the mob grinder and the back of the science lab hallways to the minecart exits.
I've also fixed a roof overhang to the right of the main home entrance that hangs over some wood stairs that go to round the back outside. Instead of wrapping the roof around from the front, I made a slight build adjustment with peaked roof, just this morning I completed more minecart stops with the interlinking minecart system (I.M.S.). The short one from the back of the science lab to the barn (Easy enough), and the end of the main route (Same area) by the platform which was more challenging as I had to build up more of an embankment. Both have cactus stoppers that feed the minecarts via hoppers into the launchers beside them for the return trip. The only one I think left now, is both ends of Mount DOOOooom bridge.

The 1.13 announcement
For so very long I was unsure whether I would move this world to 1.13 or not. For a while I decided to stay in 1.12 - and I was fine with that, as "copies" of the world kept crashing in snapshots. For a long while those copied have been fine in later snapshots and so I have decided to commence with a plan I wish to put in place.
My plan' is to travel to the Nether to an extent that's far enough away for another portal to be built. Using a copy of the world I've tried it in the latest snapshots and have found the perfect place to put it. It does mean travelling to the end of the nether fortress, digging a shortish tunnel through a mountain, going across a big stretch of soul sand, carefully passing down a drop and past lava. Up a ridge and across to another section of another nether fortress to one of the upstairs enclosed rooms. This takes me to an entirely nice new chunk in 1.13. I was unsure at first, until the sea grass and kelp started spawning in.
Possible building sites:
The plan is to live in the brand new chunk(!) whilst still retaining easy access to the old world.
I'm not sure what I want yet, a standard build home, maybe an underwater home, maybe take inspiration from one who continually inspires me (Mumbo Jumbo) and build some sort of "Base" this time - either on land or water?! Get out of my comfort zone. You can see in picture #1 there's a lovely deep coral sea bed and it stretches for miles! No underwater temple unfortunately (The thing that might have really topped it off).
The idea of staying in the old world whilst still being able to access it, but relocate to a whole new chunk is very exciting!
